Wags has a professional full-time dog trainer on staff offering individual sessions ("Play and Learn") to dogs during their daycamp or boarding visits. Our trainer, Ashley, is CPDT certified and experienced in effective, positive teaching methods to bring out the best in your dog.
For private lessons at your home, we highly recommend The Exceptional Pet in Newtown or Ten-Minute Dog in Ridgefield for your dog training needs.

The Play and Learn Program
During a Play and Learn session, our trainer will take your dog out of playgroup for about 40 minutes per day for one-on-one training. This is typically done in two 20-minute lessons during the day because generally dogs learn better in shorter, more frequent increments as opposed to one long lesson. We can work on all kinds of foundational and advanced obedience cues as well as basic manners such as walking nicely on leash, polite greetings, calmly entering and exiting a car, cooperating for vet visits, and more.
We only use positive, reward-based training methods in our Play and Learn Program. Your dog will have fun while learning!

Play and Learn sessions are sold as packages of 5 or 10.
